Mritunjay Mahadev temple is situated on the route of Daranagar to Kal Bhairav temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva also known as Lord Mritunjay Mahadev .In this temple Shiva is worshipped in the form of Mritunjay. It is believed that on worshipping Mritunjay Mahadev one can win over his death. Many people from across the world came here to perform Mahamritunjay-Path. Just besides this temple there is a well. It is believed that the water of the well is a mixture of several underground streams and is good for curing several diseases. According to another popular myth Dhanvantri the father of Ayurveda poured all his medicines in this well .So its water is sacred and eliminate several diseases.
